Why we publish a page for every area

Because the answer genuinely changes from one part of the area to the next, and for reasons that have more to do with the housing and the geography than distance.

The most consequential is disposal. Whether you are in the Creek County towns or across into the Tulsa metro, we route to the Creek County Landfill on South 33rd West Avenue - and we already know that routing, run a properly tarped truck, and know the landfill's rules. The American Environmental Landfill in Sand Springs gives a second option for certain materials. A local hauler saves you the whole problem wherever you are.

The second is the housing. The newer subdivisions toward the Interstate 44 corridor and out in Glenpool, Jenks and Bixby give up bulky, light material that wants a larger container; the older Route 66-era homes downtown give up dense debris that wants a smaller one; and the rural Creek County properties are a category of their own.

The rest is common to the whole area: the red clay that needs its own box, the household hazardous waste that stays out, and the older lots where the site constrains the container as much as the material. Each area page below covers the access, the routing and what to expect on the ground.
